Transneft – Pipeline Construction Directorate obtained a permission of administration of Krymsk Urban Settlement of Krymsky District of Krasnodar Territory for commissioning of a capital construction project “External Electricity Supply of Krymskaya Line Operation Dispatcher Station (LODS)”.
The permission for construction of the specified facility was obtained in 2015; the construction and assembly works were completed in full in March 2017. In total 5 km of high-voltage electric power transmission line and a substation with two transformers installation, each with the capacity of 25 megawatt, were constructed. Construction of the facility was conducted as part of the programme of technical upgrading of power engineering equipment of Chernomortransneft, necessary for electricity supply to Krymskaya LODS. At the present time transfer of energy consumption of functioning main pump stations No. 1, 2 and 3 for new equipment assembled as part of the project is performed.
Transneft PCD performs the works at Krymskaya LODS as a technical customer as part of the investment project Yug including three stages. The purpose of the project is construction of new facilities and reconstruction of the existing capacities for securing diesel fuel supplies at the section Tikhoretsk – Novorossiysk to the internal market of the RF (Russian Federation) and for export to the European countries through Novorossiysk port. The company performs reconstruction of Krymskaya LODS as part of the project “Yug. 1 Stage. Reconstruction of Tikhoretsk – Novorossiysk Oil Trunk Pipeline”. Construction of an additional main pump station No. 4 for petroleum products pumping is conducted. Besides, the capacity of the tank farm of the LODS is increased due to construction of four new VST (vertical steel tanks), each with the capacity of 10 thousand cubic metres. The construction and assembly works on reconstruction of Krymskaya LODS are planned to be fully completed in October 2017.
