Transneft PCD continues construction of the Tinguta PEPS in Volgograd Region

Transneft PCD continues construction and installation work at the Tinguta Pipe-End Pump Station (PEPS) in Volgograd Region. The work is carried out within the scope of the project entitled Yug. Stage 2. Construction of the Volgograd – Tikhoretskoil petroleum product Trunk Pipeline. It is the largest facility out of all project site facilities; the station is intended for pumping of diesel fuel.

Erection of steel work of the tank farm with the total capacity of 80 thousand cubic meters is completed; the farm is intended for storage, accounting and provision of diesel fuel. At the moment corrosion protection coating is being applied to the inner and the external surface of roofs and walls of four vertical steel tanks (VFRT) with the capacity of 20 thousand cubic meters each. The total area of the coating will be about 35 thousand square meters.

The construction and installation work is also continung at the trunk pump station which will be included into the Tinguta PEPS system, the building of the environmental and analytical monitoring laboratory is being paneled, steelwork of the overhead cable tray is being installed. In total 673 out of 892 tons of steelwork are already installed, 11 of 13 searchlight towers are built. At the same time cabling and wiring products are being laid along the overhead tray, 60 km out of 613 km of cable are ready.
