Transneft PCD finishes revamping Nagornaya pumping station as part of project to increase petroleum products supply to Moscow Region

Acting as a technical customer, Transneft PCD has finished comprehensive revamping of Nagornaya pumping station affiliated with Volodarsk Regional Pipeline Directorate (RPD) of Transneft Upper Volga. The work was performed as part of Transneft’s Revamping of the Trunk Pipeline System to Boost the Volumes of Petroleum Products Transportation to Moscow Region investment programme.

Construction and installation works were launched at Nagornaya PS in October 2016. Integrated revamping of the station was completed in less than two years, with 6.9 km of process pipelines and 7.9 km of utility networks’ pipelines replaced.

Two petroleum products storage tanks, an operator’s  room, an indoor switchgear, a packaged transformer substation, a petroleum product control and test laboratory, a production building, a firehouse, rooms with motor-operated valves, an outdoor main pump house and nine stop valve units were constructed.

A tank vehicle loading station, which can simultaneously fill 7 petrol tank trucks, was also revamped.

A certificate was obtained stating that the revamped capital construction facility complies with technical regulations, laws and design documentation, meets energy efficiency requirements and is sufficiently outfitted with energy resource metering devices.
