Transneft PCD Purchases New Furniture for School in Bryansk Region

Transneft - Pipeline Construction Directorate has made a charitable contribution to the Nekrasov Secondary School in Pochepsky District, Bryansk Region.

The educational institution was opened as far back as 1908. It now operates as a double-shift school. In late 2018, the school’s administration asked the Company to help with purchasing furniture.

The donations sufficed for the school to buy student desks, as well as teachers’ tables and chairs, 145 furniture items altogether. Transneft PCD’s representatives took part in the renovated classrooms’ opening ceremony. Nikolay Chuprik, Deputy Head of Procurement Directorate at Bryansk Construction Directorate, expressed hope that the educational process would become deeper and more efficient at the comfortably outfitted classrooms.

The Company received a commendation from Aleksandr Sysoyev, the head of Pochepsky District’s administration.

Transneft PCD places high emphasis on charity projects in the regions of its operation. Aid is given to socially significant institutions: schools, nursery schools, social rehabilitation centres, boarding schools, children’s supplementary education institutions located in the regions of pipeline construction and revamping. Starting from 2014, the Company has aided 97 social institutions in 61 districts of 12 Russian regions.
